My name is Emma Filomena Chappé de Leonval and I am based in the vibrant city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. I am a dynamic and creative digital designer dedicated to crafting compelling visuals and intuitive user experiences. My journey in digital design began with intensive studies in the field of design, which cultivated a solid foundation of technical skills and a deep understanding of design principles. My experience working alongside design experts since my time spent at university has provided insightful coaching that has greatly refined my skills beyond the confines of traditional university education.

I have developed a basic understanding of web development as a whole, specialising in template-based software programmes such as Wix.com.

I have spent years improving my skill in motion design, using After Effects and other Adobe apps to create highly engaging content.
ui/ux design
Throughout my years designing I have gained a strong understanding of both UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) and apply this skill to all relevant briefs.
concept development
As a designer, I have been required to apply this skill to take a single concept and creatively expand it into a fully-fledged design solution.

This skill allows me to create custom designs for a variety of client briefs, bringing their corporate identity to life using illustrations and iconography.
